Down for the Count

Well you wouldn't believe it... or perhaps you would...

I hit my head a few days ago. Really banged it. On a freakin' door handle of all things...

I had a severe headache and went to sleep. Hours later I was being woken up by my roomie forcing me to stay awake, which is hard at the best of times for moi. Shortly after being woken up I started throwing up. The following day I left work early, as I just wasn't up to speed. That evening I saw a doctor who just said I had a head injury and to take tyelonal every four hours and make sure I was being woken up. However, the dizzyness and vomitting didn't stop. The next day while at a friends place - there to clean - I was sent home to rest instead. On the way a friend following me said I should just go to her place. After resting some more, I was again woken up, only to find myself later waking up on the floor of her kitchen where I had fainted. haha..

That evening after much persistence I was taken into the Foothills Hospital. Did it really have to be the same hospital... gracious grief... haha. After 7 hours, of laying in the emergency room with tubes sticking out of me, and arguing perfusally about no drugs being administered to me, I received a CT Scan, where they found nothing wrong... bless His heart! I was released saying that my knock out had most likely just caused a severe migrane - hence the dizzyness and nausia.

Yes... this is my insane week. I've been off work now for two days, and today is the first day I feel somewhat coherant. I'm fine, just super weak and insanely bored out of my mind. I stopped in to work at Starbucks just to see some gals, and post a short note... however, I'm a wee bit wobbly and think I'm heading back home now...

Take care all... and watch out for those nasty door handles.. they come out of nowhere...haha. I'll be taking care of mine later.... revenge is sweet... muhahaha

Unbelievable. The story of this week for you will go down as one of my all time favorite stories. AND two posts in three days, I like it Ms. Harris! I hope your recovery is going well, sorry I missed you when you stopped by, hope to see you Sunday...if your conscious! Eeek, take it easy.

you've got to stop knocking your head on things. You might as well go into boxing if you're going to get this many concussions. Continue to be challenged and keep us faithful bloggers updated.
